AstrosTwins Verified Member Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Man, Arraez is almost automatic. We need at least one more run though. Buxton and C4 need to come thru here.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Why wouldn’t you bunt there, fully recognizing that buxton is a HR threat.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 I tend to be pretty forgiving, but this ump has had a rough night, both ways.
AstrosTwins Verified Member Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 That is a HORRIBLE strike call. Damn!

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Buxton has become a two true outcome hitter.

Nitpic, but Buxton is not a top 10 hitter in baseball.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Sox telecast just showed the Kelly/Correa kerfluffle from a couple years ago, just before showing ball four.

Because he’s 4 for his last 27 with 11 strikeouts and isn’t remotely close to a top ten hitter in baseball nor is he the best hitter on the team.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Kepler with a .628 OPS over the last 24 games. Perhaps he can get off to rough patch right here?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Do you suppose the two clean-headed men in the front row might be related?

Sox fan in response: I’m done. I’m done with them until they fire LaRussa. Play in a horse **** division with all that talent and lose to **** teams because of something like that? That’s pathetic. They should be up at least 2 if not 3 runs right now. Gold Glove center fielder lets two routine fly balls drop for doubles. They pipe a fastball to the only hitter in the lineup that can beat them. Mental mistake after mental mistake. That’s not having your players ready. I just turned it off. I’m thinking things aren’t too pleasant on ChiSox Daily these days…. Well, I guess my buddy won’t have to worry about LaRussa screwing up anymore tonight!
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 That's the call TLR decides to get ejected on? That wasn't even a top 15 missed call of the night
