The fact that we continue to ask a terrible bullpen to get 12 outs or more every game is baffling.

It's been pretty clear for a while now the plan with the starters, particularly the bottom of the rotation, is to limit their exposure. 

 

It's Dylan Bundy. 5 good innings is fine.

He’s the #5 starter, and #6 starter when we had a 6 man rotation. Yeah, he’s a 5 and fly guy if the game is close.  I have no problem with that logic at all.

Yeah, the bullpen makes it less than ideal, but Rocco manages Archer, Bundy, Smeltzer etc. not different than any other manager.
