What is the point of pinch running Gordon if you just have him stand there?

Although, even though he is supposed to be fast, he is only successful 50% of the time this year, and leads the worst stealing team in MLB with 6 attempts only.

On the other hand, he didn't get out. And as things went, i don't think he woulda scored from second. 

 

Unless he also stole third, too, and then tried to steal home.

Rocco refuses to deviate from a pre-game pitching plan,  wasent letting Bundy go 3rd time thru the line-up ??  all i can think of??    Hop[e it works

Even if it does work, it’s foolish. How many arms will we use tonight? And anyone who goes 2 innings will be unavailable tomorrow. Bundy was doing fine and had 58 pitches.

I think it was more about the defensive replacement, but if you’re going to do it, you might as well improve the base running as well, even if you don’t plan to steal.
