Give him whatever he wants to stay here.

Do you think the Twins will offer him or anyone else a 7 years or more contract. The only player in all of baseball the Twins might offer a long contract would be Ohtanj. Not because he's the best player necessarily but because he would draw fans and sell merchandise.

Cron put up a nice PA.  SO just the same.

He gave us a nice strike out an inning or so ago, too

Sorry for breaking the rules, folks, but there were T-bones thawed out in the fridge. Beef is what's for dinner.

I hope I don't mismanage the grill.

Twins win!

This seemed like such a disappointing homestand after whatever the hell the Cleveland series was and then laying an offensive egg against Colorado on Friday, but the Twins just put together two really good games against a bad team that they badly needed and are now catching a scuffling Cleveland team with a larger division lead than what they entered the homestand with. Hard to be too disappointed in that.

until tomorrow,

ENJOY YOUR CHICKEN!

Nice inning by Duran and a nice win for the Twins.

Let's enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Cleveland coming in with a 4 game losing streak is beautiful haha

In a 3-3 home stand, the two key sequences were escaping bases loaded, none out jams on Thursday and Sunday. It could easily have ended up 1-5 and a couple games behind Cleveland.

Opinions can be analytic. Good ones, especially.

At least, I think so.

Some of them are Continental, though.

Another update on my predictions/expectations for the last half of June

3 @ SEA 27-32 predict 2-1, actual 2-1

3 @ ARI 28-33 predict 2-1, actual 1-2

3 v CLE 29-27 predict 2-1, actual 1-2

3 v COL 26-34 predict 2-1, actual 2-1

5 @ CLE 29-27 predict 2-3

Still on pace to go 8-9/9-8 like i updated before the Cleveland series. Wish we could've swept the Rockies because the chance was right there, but I'll never be upset about a series win because it's really hard to win 3 straight in baseball regardless of the opponent. Just win at least two games against Cleveland and you still have the division lead, which I think it the most likely outcome.

Didn’t happen. You’re not gonna cheer for Colorado to tie the score so Buck can hit a game -ending inside-the-park homer are you?

’Cause I’d love to see it!

I know the reply is late, but NO.

Duffy’s post game comments were great…..been through hell but seems really grounded.

He's been through hell? How about us poor fans?  Just kidding, well maybe not.

Yes, I was having the same thought as I listened. Interesting that he identified Pelfrey as the example of a standup guy after struggling.

It all worked out in the end, and that's all that matters.

Because of his management skills, right?

I think that's the exact inscription on Tommy Lasorda's Hall of Fame plaque.

I'm pretty sure we're going there, but there is no denying a 4 game losing streak for them is a good thing.  (A 9 game streak would be better...)
