It’s not negative, it’s a fact. 3 runs or less in half your games played with almost half the season gone by is not particularly good. They’ve scored 8 or more in 16 games.

Blame this or that, but it all comes down to this…. Can the bullpen get 6 outs? Because that’s what bullpens on contending teams do with regularity

He was speaking to Arraez’s ability to wait on pitches, I believe his actual quote was “that’s a batting practice pitch to Luis Arraez”, as in “Arraez’s talent allows him to crush those pitches”.

Arraez is putting more oomph in his swing this year, same thing Carew did his best year with the Twins; some times tring to hammer the ball works even for small ball hitters.
