Rocco is trying to ensure that the Twins have no chance in stealing a game here. ZERO reason for Sands to face Judge a third time with 3 guys who just had 3+ days off in the bullpen.

Yes, apparently facing 8-9-1 with a 3 run lead and a somewhat proven pitcher, he’s gotta get pulled. But a guy making an emergency start that’s most likely AAA quality gets to face the heart of the Yankees order a third time in a one run game
