Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Buxton catches that. Not this year but other years.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Personally if the twins aren’t built to end their playoff losing streak, I’d rather them miss out on the postseason. I’ve seen enough playoff losses and this team, as constructed, instills little confidence in their october abilities
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Sigh. Polo's defense has been dreadful this series. As has the Twins play.

rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 More superb defense by Polanco. How did this team win 30 games this season?
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Normally I wouldn't be too bent out of shape about 2 runs allowed, but that's also equal to the number of hits this offense has mustered this far, so my outlook is a bit more pessimistic than normal.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Couldn't have been more of a middle middle first pitch.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Might have to put a hard hat on while watching Ober pitch. He’s been falling back to earth
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Good thing we have all those pitchers on the roster. Let's see how many Ober can give up and not use any. Two first pitches and one second. Let Ober fry Baldelli.

Underutilized? Correa, Sanchez, and Buxton come in 80th, 80th (tie) and Buxton 83rd. Polanco is team leader with 177 ABs (21st overall) Missed over a week with COVID and has noticeable lefty-righty splits.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 This team has been absolutely dreadful. Yeah, they're injured. I don't care. They are still more talented on paper than the Tigers and Royals even without the guys they are missing. This team may make the playoffs because the division is absolutely dreadful, but make no mistake, they are not winning a series with this pitching staff, bullpen, or lineup, let alone a combo of all 3.
