Never have athletes been in better physical condition, but never have they been so prone to injury. Bizarre

Overdeveloped muscles pulling on tendons and ligaments? Just a guess. I have no expertise here.

We see bodies stretched to their limits … how fast they run, how hard they throw … it’s got give in some way?

Your daily reminder that wanting Griffin Jax to be good does not mean he is.

This is looking to be a Pyrrhic Victory...

Maybe pulling your starter while in a 3-1 count and starting to fade is the new meta, might as well get a reliever in there mid-count and try and salvage the inning before it goes haywire.

Bremer selling Jax with "11 pitches and 8 strikes" and leaving out the 2 runs he just let in. And then the WP. Come on Jax!

Looking iffy right now. Hope he doesn't come back for the 8th.

Unless he completely implodes...I think he's going to go the rest of the way.

The only way to keep Baldelli from having to make a call, is to keep a huge lead and win big.

Griffin jax gonna griffin jax

And after he gives up 2-3 runs and a walk people will rush to defend him with "he was told to just throw strikes" or some ridiculous nonsense.

Twins paying too much in injuries to lose this game,

Isn't that the truth? Hopefully Sonny will be okay. Can't afford to lose their ace with what's ahead.

No, once enough relievers fail to get the job done, we’ll have to use Duran, probably for more than an inning. Per the norm

To quote the late, great Rod Beck: "I've never heard of anyone being put on the DL for pulled fat."
