lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 And a late pregame move with Polanco to the IL, Palacios selected, and Jeffers to the 60 day IL.
Danchat Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Author Posted September 4, 2022 Good to see Palacios finally get rewarded with a 40 man spot (previously he was up as a COVID temp player).
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Mahle to the IL, Moran recalled.

tony&rodney Verified Member Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 So, at least one good thing comes from an IL trip for Mahle, because Moran deserves to be on the MLB roster.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Jewell designated, Varland activated
ScottyB Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Assume for now that Varland is 27th man for the doubleheader and another move will be made tomorrow to allow him to stay.

ScottyB Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Ashbury - was just going to make that change. Thanks for updating.
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Sands activated off IL, Austin Davis DFA'd.
Rick Blaine Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Per Seth Stohs, Josh Winder is starting today. Do we know the corresponding move yet? Sands, Sanchez, Archer to the IL?
Irishman Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Too many injuries. That hurts!

Rosterman Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 I expect Varland will get the call for the double-header. Remember, we have to make 40-man deletions when we activate Winder. Dobnak needs to be actvated, too (although I would attempt to waiver him and then assign him to St. Paul...his contract will keep him a non-roster Twins still next year). Larnach, Ober, Jeffers will also involve 40-man moves.
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Could be sooner for Varland depending on Archer.
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Just checked the Twins website and the Winder recall has been announced but no corresponding moves yet. No 40 man move is needed as with him it stands at 39. Just have to send a pitcher down.
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Well Archer did go on the IL but Cotton was recalled to replace him.
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Sands to AAA. Not really a surprise.
ScottyB Verified Member Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 So summation: Archer to 15 day IL, Sands to Saints, Winder recalled from IL, Cotton added to open spot on 40 man and recalled.

Hopefully, that's the last we see of Archer. Time for him to try and jump-start his career with another team.

Rosterman Verified Member Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Randy Dobnak put on waivers to free 40-man spot. Imagine the Twins are adding back Over.

That doesn’t create a new 40-man spot since Dobnak was on the 60-day IL. Dobnak’s rehab time probably is up and the Twins don’t want to add him back on the 40-man.
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 That's exactly what it was. 30 days were up.
