Careful, the SSS crew might find this post.

Seriously though, it's funny how that argument only seems to apply to one side.

Their record against winning teams isn’t bad (they caught the white sox at the right time apparently), but they haven’t been super competitive against the two best teams they’ve faced. Like not remotely threatening in the 4 games against the dodgers and Astros

"But the injuries" crew reporting for duty.

Yes, he was one of the 9 choices. I guess you might say he made the wrong choice.

I'd say it was the right choice. If someone is going to give up a half dozen runs, it might as well be in a game they are already going to lose. Doesn't matter how many runs the Twins give up. If they don't score more than 2 runs they are guaranteed to lose.

I failed until now to appreciate the excellent camera work to capture this moment in history (even if some post production sweetened it up a bit).

Which pivots faster, your typical lawn sprinkler or this cameraperson?

Jorge!!!

Edit: I wanted to follow this with another that said "Jose!!!" but he didn't cooperate.

I hadn't thought of that either! It really is Emmy worthy!

I pointed out the Sox thing as well as the incredibly soft 50ish games to start the year but that's been outlawed. To an extent I get it, this is so much better than last year, but it's also ok to, ya know, state what's clearly happening in front of our eyes.

Um... What is the water pressure driving the sprinkler?

I will go with...

Yes!

Totally fair, my point is that if we're talking about Jeffers as one of the top catchers in baseball and anointing the prospects as "arrived," after 30 odd games then it's ok to poke holes based on SSS as well.

Yes!

I believe that the correct question is:

African or European sprinkler?

This might be more bearable if the stock market was not crashing at the same time.

I’m always hearing it’s better for relievers to start the inning rather than come in and try to clean up a mess. Maybe if Stashak starts the 6th he has better results. 2 innings from Cano should have been enough, most of us here realize that, why can’t Rocco realize that?

The hair blowing back in the wind makes the video, but HAS to be CGI, no?

I just figured that it was aided by the rotation of the Earth.

Golf course, you say.

How'd you shoot?

I’m a bogey golfer and couldn’t break 90 today. The putter was not my friend.

We're gonna need Chief to offer a translation of this super-sekrit code language.

Astudillo's hair flowed like that when he simply walked to the water cooler.

Would love to see Lewis and/or Celestino bumped up in the lineup for game 2, although the "double leadoff," thing might be just as advantageous.

I've heard that the "H" in "Air Force" stands for "happiness".  (Or was that some other branch.)
