stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 We may have many choices on players to put on the IL.

CRF Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 The bases loaded jinx continues. We just can't buy a hit when we've got em stacked!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Walkoffs are more fun anyway.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Nice double play. Now let's end this.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 18 total pitches for Duran. 9 each inning. If needed, do you give him the 10th? I would.

RpR Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Could end up being Celestinos day to win the game.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 I remember Hendricks pitching for the Twins in Anaheim. He was VERY hittable. Time for some deja vu.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Wonder who gets the 10th if we get there. Pagan is a candidate, but he wasn't good last time out. Duffey is obviously a choice, but we've seen how his high leverage innings have went. Joe Smith could go, although he isn't a huge strikeout guy. You could send Duran back out for a 3rd inning, although I would be surprised. I vote we walk it off in the 9th.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Rare sign of a bad attitude from Polanco there. Where's the hustle? Really unlike him. In other news, Eddie Rosario struck out in the 9th with the tying run on 2nd, to kill a three-run Braves rally. Braves lost 5-4, Eddie is now batting .068 and k'ed in both of his at-bats today.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Polanco should have run to first there and hoped for another bad throw.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Absolutely no excuse for Polanco not running to first there. None. Just lazy.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Don't think Polo swung there, but you have to run that out.

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Wonder if Correa PH's for Celestino and you send Gordon out to LF.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Who said Urshela sucks earlier? He says .... "Bite Me!"
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Yeah, one would think this would be a time to PH Correa.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 I am liking the Urshela trade more and more.
Muppet Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 White Sox strategy: walk the bases loaded. No way they’ll score then.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 7 minutes ago, RpR said: Could end up being Celestinos day to win the game. He hit a rope. Too bad, just went to the wrong place.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Wow. Celestino crushed that ball.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 That lineout had an xBA of .750.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 Terrible strike call there on Gordon to make it 0-2. The time for robot balls/strikes is long overdue, they just have too much influence on the outcomes of the games when they get these calls wrong.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 The ballgame is over. Whatever they call what’s coming up, I don’t know, but it’s not baseball
