Good morning everyone! Who is ready for some Twins baseball?

I will have to be honest with you all. This is my first season as a Twins fan. I live in Nashville and have never really been connected to a baseball team but have always loved to watch the sport. But, my girlfriend is from Minnesota (Shoutout St. Cloud) so this year I decided to be a Twins fan (pre Carlos Correa trade). I did go to a game last year and loved the ball park and the people I talked to. But, enough about me. Let's get to today's game.

Today we will see Lucas Giolito take the mound for the bad guys and Chris Archer will take the mound for the good guys. Will Chris Archer have his top 3 buttons unbuttoned? Only time will tell. Arraez, Buxton, and Jeffers will be looking to continue their strong hitting performance from yesterday and Sano will be looking to end his slump after going 0-5 yesterday. Today is the last day of the series before an off day tomorrow. Will the Twins get the series sweep and go to 4 win in a row?

Roster Updates:

Per Aaron GleemanAlex Kirilloff (wrist) is expected to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday. Likely to play at least two games there, the first at designated hitter and the second in the field.

On April 24 in Baseball History...

1901 - Chicago defeated Cleveland 8-2 in the first American League game. The game lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes in front of a reported crowd of 14,000 at the Chicago Cricket Club

Nice intro and welcome. Threaders are part humorists, part optimists, part pessimists, part story-tellers and part nuts. But all good people. Have fun.

Who are you calling a story teller?!?!

I thought "story-tellers" sounded better than "liars". I didn't want to scare away the kid.

Good thinking!

I have been known to spin a tale. And that's no lie.

Are you one of those "spin doctor" people? :)

A tell of stories. A weaver of dreams. I know a trick or two. I can dance, sing, and in the right weather i can stand on my head. I know seven words of latin and a little magic. I can fight dirty, but not fair. I once swallowed seven oysters in a minute. I am not domestic, i am a luxery. And in that sense, necessary.

(now i gotta look up the original quote and see how much i got wrong...)

trick or two was out place, and i guess i forgot the proper way to greet a dragon.

Woe is me.

Jeffers get a break against a tough righty while Godoy gets right into the mix with his lefty stick.

Ubi est villa, agricola? Two years of Latin got me those four words. Still don't know the answer.

Could an ABC lineup of Arraez, Buxton, Correa ever work?

Then the rotation could follow suit:  Arch, Bailey, Chris, and Dylan.

Then there would be too much order in the world...

Sorry. I left it unanswered.

I have other things to do. An orchestra to pit which coincides with the game.

Thus i get as many witticisms in now, as i won't be back until intermission. Not that they make sense...

Take good care of the game.
