I hate that play. I absolutely hate it. Asking a catcher to safety squeeze that likely rarely bunts against a pitcher that can't find the strike zone.  Take your chances on a fly ball/base hit/walk

Great call IMO opinion to try the squeeze....but man that was terrible execution.   He squared so early i don't think Cellestino could've scored even on a perfect bunt......and then he popped it up to make matters worse.

Late to the game thread....why no Jeffers or Sanchez PH for Godoy? Someone who's actually faced MLB game pitching this year?

Sanchez is hurt and so is Jeffers although he is apparently available. However, not PH for Godoy there tells you that he probably isn't actually available.

Sanchez has some sort of injury, which is why Godoy is here, and Jeffers was scratched From the lineup, don't know why.
