Gant is the poster child for moving guys to the bullpen..... Looks like a great trade! That's three guys for next year's bullpen.... Plus alcala....

Gant was a full time reliever in 2019 and 2020. He also spent time in the pen for St Louis this year. 

He's 29.

That was a nice inning, but I'm going t %o need to see more than that to believe. He's never been able to maintain any kind of command. Almost 5 BB per 9 over 350-ish MLB innings.

Nice return for Happ, no doubt, but I'm not penciling him into any contending bullpen just yet.

Baldelli finally moved Kepler down in the order tonight, but I guess .165 isn't low enough to move Rooker out of the 2 hole.

My bad....I thought they used him as a starter to start this year. As for command... Pretty sure that was as a starter. He's in your bullpen next year for sure, pending health. 29 isn't old.....

Rooker is probably not a MLB player. Hated that pick. Hated it at the time. Wish I was wrong back then....

Why do so many batters let pitch down the middle of the pipe of first pitch go by, including some of really good batters?

Astudillo --18 rbi in 54 games

Arraez -- 27 rbi in 78 games.

That is why he is still here whether you hate him or not.

They did. He started 14 games this year for St. Louis. Pitched in 25.

2019 and 2020 was in the pen , no starts.

I don't think the math says what you think it says.

 

It says Arraez drives in runs at a slightly better rate per game than Tortuga.
