It's the microchips Bill Gates implanted in the players when they got their covid shot. He gave the computer controlling the chips to Rocco. But he dropped it. Now it sends out signals from Italy that say "That's a gouda cheese!"
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 It could have been worse, but oh my, Maeda couldn’t have struggled much more.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Dick: “Twins doing a good job of running up Giolito’s pitch count…” Jeffers: “Hold my beer”
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Maeda is just brutal to watch at times this year
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Jeffers has no speed, whatsoever. He runs too long in one spot.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 4 walks in 8 ABs, something really isn't right with Maeda.

Slow motion train wreck heading straight for the Twins here, why torture ourselves and watch?
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I think Jim Bouton wrote a book about Maeda’s start tonight

twins_89 Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Maeda is really struggling to find the strike zone, but he has somehow managed to hold Chicago to only 1 run. The question going forward is how long to wait before pulling him. He's already at 47 pitches through 2 innings, so I can't imagine he'll go more than 4 (and probably less if he keeps walking guys).

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 How 'bout a nice, quick, 30 pitch inning here, Kenta?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 We didn't do so much there...
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I saw pics of players selected on the all star ballots. The Yankee players look so much younger, due to the team's no facial hair policy.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Dry, brown grass or infinite Twins rainouts/rain delays. Pick one, weather.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Looks like we are coming backout.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Does Justin have a mandated number of excuses he must use each game?
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I'm not a big fan of dome stadiums, but they come in nice, once in a while. 2 weeks ago went to D-Back game. 1pm start. 114 degree outside temp, inside Chase Field, 74 degrees.
