Law's appearance does prompt a question. Should all Twins pitchers learn to throw a knuckle ball? Doesn't need to be a great one, just something that breaks in a random direction.

I'm a little surprised that he was able to maintain a veneer of effectiveness for as long as he did, considering how much of it was smoke and mirrors:

How on earth did every single pitching acquisition this offseason fail? I mean, a blind squirrel usually finds a nut or two, and they were able to squeeze some strong performances out of relievers in 2019-20... what the heck happened to this pitching staff?!

I just finished dinner and a talk with our family in Bozeman.  I thought it would be really nice to finish the evening with a nice baseball game.  Boy was I wrong.
