Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 This is a joke, I can’t believe there are as many fans at the game as there are. Hamilton was almost safe

D. Hocking Verified Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Thinking positively, if they manage to rally and come back and win this game, it will really be a momentum shifter for the rest of the season.

Irishman Verified Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Is there 10 run mercy rule? Any little league team plays better than the Twins.....
jkcarew Verified Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Never make the first out of an inning at home. They’re going to regret this if we can score a couple dozen runs in the back end of this game.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Law's appearance does prompt a question. Should all Twins pitchers learn to throw a knuckle ball? Doesn't need to be a great one, just something that breaks in a random direction.
Irishman Verified Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 When will Baldelli be fired? Tonight? Tomorrow? Next week?

D.C Twins Verified Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Wow... let's all be honest.... this is officially crossing over from disappointing to humorous. I know longer want Rocco or the hitting coach to be fired. I want them to be forced to flog through this full s-show of a season staring blankly at their ipad

Seeing him struggle like this is no surprise to me, at least. I'm a little surprised that he was able to maintain a veneer of effectiveness for as long as he did, considering how much of it was smoke and mirrors: 2021 ERA: 3.47 xFIP: 5.52 (Career ERA - xFIP differential: - 0.27) 2021 BABIP: .229 Career BABIP: .285 So basically we're just finally seeing what a mediocre pitcher having a bad year looks like when their good luck runs out.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 How on earth did every single pitching acquisition this offseason fail? I mean, a blind squirrel usually finds a nut or two, and they were able to squeeze some strong performances out of relievers in 2019-20... what the heck happened to this pitching staff?!
mikelink45 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 I just finished dinner and a talk with our family in Bozeman. I thought it would be really nice to finish the evening with a nice baseball game. Boy was I wrong.
