I don’t know what Cruz wants to do after his playing days. He can stay in the dugout as long as he wants to be associated with the game.

I don't know the details of the rules, but MLB limits the number of uniformed coaches a team can have. Maybe Cruz can be hired as Sano's personal equipment attendant.

Right, though I was referring to his effect on the clubhouse and the postgame dances/parties they had, if I recall correctly. Seemed like there was a point when the team was simply better just with Torii in the clubhouse.

Playing Monday Morning Quarterback, and it worked out fine, but I would've given Maeda another inning. I'm sure Rocco was being careful after throwing 113 last time out

Anxiety filled bottom of the sixth. Thielbar gets the job done.

 

Yes, with all the pitchers used yesterday and Maeda only going 5, the Twins are a bit hemmed in.

... and a likely shorty from Hill tomorrow. Someone will have to wear one at some point. Of course, losing 9-0 to Bieber is the same as 1-0.

Agreed. The veterans of the team want to be by his side and every time they zoom into the dugout they’re all laughing and staying loose. Who knows, maybe he’s a future manager one day.
