There's the annoying music, and there's also a cardboard cutout in a hipster fedora who's distracting batters with an air horn and a mirror...

Don't like making the second out at home, but I can't really second guess the send. Polanco was running well and it took a perfect throw.

On the plus side, Fox has increased the volume on the generic rock commercial outro's to help desensitize us to the in-game crap.

I'll take "Things I thought I heard but must not have" for $100.

"they got the extra point but missed the TD."

Do I recall correctly that when Murphy was acquired from New York, he was said to be a good pitch-framer? Showed it there on strike 3 to Sanó.

Dick has a completely different (oblivious?) view of what Musgrove is upset about. The Pirates' announcers (unimpressive, for sure) are annoyed at he** because music is blaring between EVERY PITCH only when the Pirates are pitching. And they're absolutely right.

The Twins PA staff or whomever is in charge of this music really needs to get sat down and told to knock it the hell off. It was awful last year, it's been even more grating this year. It's like a room full of 12 year-olds are up there messing around. Glad Musgrove complained and glad the Pirates are saying something.

This type of stuff belongs in a minor league park on Dubstep Night, not every day in an MLB stadium.

most Pittsburgh teams have the same colors(black and yellow) so I can understand the confusion

I guess someone has to be the heir-apparent to Angel Hernandez.

Couldn't they have just set up a trust and donate the bad calls to minor league teams in need?
