Game Thread: Twins @ Detroit 3:40 PM PST (5:40 PM CDT) 9/24/2019

[Pius Jefferson]

You're confusing him with Buck Naked.

[FlauerPauer]

2 more to go.

[Richie the Rally Goat]

What, don't want to wade in on that one?

I already used Wade into the river...

[twinsnorth49]

but I can support him just fine if he's not on the mound, giving up baserunners galore to a Mendoza-hitting team.

I'm not expecting support, I sure as hell don't. Just giving credit where credit is due, he finished that off well.

[FlauerPauer]

1 more! C'mon, Rogers!

[mrtwinsfan]

4-2  good-- win --only Drama really been Gibby

[wabene]

I don't think anyone should question Mr Gibson's guts.

[70charger]

Any word on Odorizzi? Was he hurt like some posts were alluding to? Stats say he got through 6 with fewer than 100 pitches, so...?

[FlauerPauer]

Need this save for my fantasy team! In the finals and don't really have any other closer's due to injury and pedophile arrest!

[mrtwinsfan]

I'm not expecting support, I sure as hell don't. Just giving credit where credit is due, he finished that off well.

Yes he did . glad he did

[stringer bell]

Good job Rogers!

[LVTwinsfan]

Twins win, Indians can suck it

[Blake]

[VATwinsFan]

I don't think anyone should question Mr Gibson's guts.

How about Rocco's sanity?

[Puckett34]

WINNER!

[FlauerPauer]

He gone! Magic Number: 2!

[70charger]

[David HK]

I finally got it.

Rocco is actually a Repo Man.

"...Repo man spends his life trying to get into tense situations."

[GCTF]

...and then the number of the counting was 2.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

[LaBombo]

Does showing up right after the bullpen has done its job make up for that time last week when I arrived in suspiciously close proximity to the people who came to tar and feather the bullpen?

No?

Crap. Guess I'll just celebrate the

[stringer bell]

And exhale. Magic number---2!

[LVTwinsfan]

I don't think anyone should question Mr Gibson's guts.

I don’t, I question his effectiveness

[wabene]

Just a deuce baby!!!

[twinsnorth49]

[Blake]

That worked out well.

Gibson does a credible job for two innings to get to Rogers, which means the bullpen is completely available the next couple of games.

[VATwinsFan]

They're only in the 4th inning in Chicago??

Sox pitchers have already thrown 107 pitches.

Yikes.

And they're getting the snot beat out of them.
