Game Thread: Twins vs Cleveland 7:10 PM EDT (6:10 PM CDT) 9/7/2019

[LaBombo]

There's not running hard down the line on an easy grounder, and then there's looking like you just made an out on your PS4.

[ScrapTheNickname]

Puig getting booed. Wow.

seems to show high baseball iq of twins fans by their lusty instantanous boo at a player for grotesque laiziness!

[VATwinsFan]

Mr Odorizzi doing very well.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

More insurance runs!

(just figured i'd get an early start)

No one (on the Twins) seems eto be listening to me...

Oh well. I'm used to it.

[MNT1996]

Wow. Francona leaving him out there. Lost some respect for him as a manager there.

[twinsnorth49]

Pretty good swinging strike rate for ‘ol Jake tonight.

[VATwinsFan]

Good hustle Mr Sano!

[VATwinsFan]

Can't squander two good starting pitcher efforts in a row.

[operation mindcrime]

ARRAEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[PDX Twin]

Arraez could be an umpire after he quits playing. He can judge the strike zone better from the left-hand batters box than the umpire can from behind the catcher. Two called strikes on balls well outside the zone.

[VATwinsFan]

Infield in, hit to the SS, why do you run?

[drock2190]

Cron and Schoop. They will fine ways to kill an inning more then anyone else.

[VATwinsFan]

Don't make Civale throw any pitches or anything, especially after he just walked three guys in a row the previous inning.

[PDX Twin]

We're racking up the LOBs lately.

[operation mindcrime]

How pathetic!

[VATwinsFan]

Dismal.

[MNT1996]

Can't waste those opportunities

[bighat]

More unbelievably frustrating squandering going on.

[Don Walcott]

Sano is too nice to do it, but the remedy for the catcher blocking the plate like that is to slide through his leg. I shudder to think of the damage Sano could have done to him.

[IndyTwinsFan]

Runners on 2nd and 3rd and they find a way to not score! AARGH!

Contact page was likely on.

The ground ball to shortstop by Cron on the 1st pitch was the real killer, not Sano's baserunning. IMO, anyway.

[Blake]

Crud.

By the way, I rest my case regarding Puig.

[Danchat]

This offense is hard to watch when the RISP hitting isn't working. So many wasted baserunners...

[jimbo92107]

Time for the league to ban blue hair coloring. 60 game suspension!

[Blake]

Cevale is really walking a tightrope. Just a little nudge and he falls off.

Running on contact is something I do not understand, esp in this situation.

[Don Walcott]

I was pretty on point guesstimating Pineda’s line so I’ll go for it again

Odorizzi

5IP 7H 3R 2ER 1BB 6K

70 / 137 pitches for strikes

A little light on the strikeouts.

Sano would've probably got injured!

[PseudoSABR]

Astudillo doing Astudillo things.

[Don Walcott]

Nice play, Tortuga!! With a little comedy at the end.
