A passenger in a taxi leaned over to ask the driver a question and
tapped him on the shoulder. The driver screamed, lost control of the
cab, nearly hit a bus, went up over the curb and stopped just inches
from a large plate glass window.

 

For a few moments everything was silent in the cab and then the still
shaking driver said, I'm sorry but you scared the daylights out of me...

 

The frightened passenger, apologized to the driver and said he didn't
realize a mere tap on the shoulder could frighten him so much.

 

The driver replied, No, No, I'm sorry, it's my fault entirely. Today is
my first day driving a cab... I've been driving a hearse for the last
35 years....

Unless Duffey is somehow not ahead of Dyson or Romo on the “depth chart”.

12 runs in support is what saved this game, Gibson with his typical 5 innings. it gets old, no reason the Twins should sign him, so if he leaves, we’ll leave him alone

Stepped away from the game when it was 4-2 after the 1st inning ... came back now and caught up on the game thread, then checked the score. LOL ... imagine my delight that we were winning ... and not just winning, but the score was 12-4. And Gibson made it through 5. (Although 3 or fewer runs over 6 would have been better, but ... eh, I'll take it.)

Should this team make the playoffs, it will be interesting to see who are the relief pitchers used in high leverage situations.

 

While Dyson and Romo have the experience, May and Duffey seem to be getting it done quite well.
