So, believe it or not, I was hiking with some friends in the desert and came upon a sort of, Middle Eastern looking bottle. "What the hey," I though, and gave it a rub.

 

Sure enough, out popped a genie. My friends and I just stood there, mouths open, in shock. 

 

"Well," said the genie. "Get the stoned look off your face. I will grant you one of three things, you can have infinite money, infinately great looks, or infinate wisdom."

 

I thought for only a second, and said "I'll take the infinate wisdom."

 

Boom, just like that, I had it.

 

"What's it like?" asked one of my friends.

 

Without hesitation, I replied, "I should have taken the money."

I was right there with you, right up until the "friends" part, then, things became unbelievable.

Without looking it up, does anyone remember the last time Gibby had a so-called "quality" start?

This game is a joke.  Leaving it on and going to get some work done in the kitchen.  Figure we'll be in the top of the 6th by the time I put a pie in the oven.

In nature, life eats life. The strong prey upon the weak and the infirm. So it is with the Twins feasting upon a struggling Tigers team. Like water buffalo crossing an African stream, some will be consumed so that the herd can live. Do not avert your eyes, Twins fans. The savagery of nature is cyclical. There will be future Tigers, and there will be more Twins. For now, the buffet is in our favor. 

I didn't realize that Glen Perkins might be related to Marlin.

Good Gibson, bad Gibson...doesn't much matter when your team scores 12 runs in 4 innings. This is the Twins offense from the first half. Making the starters almost an afterthought. Just throw strikes and let batters get themselves out.
