twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Garver was behind the plate in the Santana at bat too. They still have pregame meetings to discuss how to pitch to guys, right? Do they forget? If they do, it's time for a new plan.
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Bremer and Smalley were JUST talking about how May's "emergence" may be a huge addition to the bullpen and that we are going to get internal help. No joke.Good lord i am so sick of the "internal help" bull**** with this team...
BattleYourTailOff Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Between Garvers passed balls trying to frame balls and his weakness with his calling and overruling pitchers he definitely needs more work back there.
Tomj14 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Not to pick on Nick Nelson, but his reply to me lumping May with Parker. "May below Harper? And at the same level as Parker??"
HawksNest Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Don't worry, Cody Allen is on the way
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 In all honesty, I don’t think it would be even possible for the team to add as much pitching help as it needs at this point. What do they need? At least two relievers and a starter? At minimum? Good luck getting all that.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 I expect another "Twins bullpen help may be internal" article any moment now.Direct? Or indirect?
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Amed Rosario plays like a superstar in this series.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 incredible play by their shortstop there, good hustle and AB by Gonzalez.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 If they do, it's time for a new plan.Let the Wookie win?
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 I've been watching the game on my phone and couldn't comment at the same time... You can't throw that pitch, May. People are looking for the curve on 0-2 and your curve is light years away from Pressly's hammer curve.
SpicyGarvSauce Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Another great PA by Sano in crunch time.

Maybe their goal is to tank and let the Indians pass them so they have a built in excuse when they let the deadline pass doing nothing lol.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 After today’s loss would be a good time for the manager to call out his team’s heart.
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Sano' swing-and-miss ability is a big problem.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Amed Rosario plays like a superstar in this series. Yeah he's outplaying our shortstop that's for sure
SpicyGarvSauce Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Sano' swing-and-miss ability is a big problem. It's an 80 grade.
SpicyGarvSauce Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Yeah he's outplaying our shortstop that's for surePolanco has been brutal lately...as has Kepler, sans the game vs. Bauer.

FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 After today’s loss would be a good time for the manager to call out his team’s heart.I wish but im not sure Rocco ever gets upset..kind of ridiculous actually
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Why not trade Sano for pitching help? He is not good on the both sides of the ball.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 We're seriously going to get swept by the Mets...at home...in the midst of a potential playoff run. I don't know what screams Minnesota sports more than that.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 After today’s loss would be a good time for the manager to call out his team’s heart.Calling out a first place team for having no heart is unlikely to have a positive effect. Wait until they fall out of first like all the prognosticators here are calling for.
rickybeathard Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Why not trade Sano for pitching help? He is not good on the both sides of the ball. At this point I think I would be okay with this.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Why not trade Sano for pitching help? He is not good on the both sides of the ball. Because the return would be crappy.
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Sano' K% is about 40%!!! I check and I don't know who can succeed at this very high rate.
gocgo Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Why not trade Sano for pitching help? He is not good on the both sides of the ball. Two reasons. First, with so many teams in the running for playoff spots, we would giving away a young guy that can bang out 40+ for what would probably be a half year rental. Second, we would be giving away a young guy that can bang out 40+.
