stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 C'mon Buck! On schedule, a three-base hit!
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 measured 6.0 on the earthquake meter, Sanos slide
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 It sounded like we could have ended up with this...
stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Fun to watch Buck sliding into third at the same time Sanó is belly-flopping to the plate.
Blake Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Buxton: "I'm heading to third!" Sano: "Crap, I only have a 90' foot lead!'
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Schoop has no plate discipline at all.Maybe you need to teach him some discipline, then:
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 I am hoping that everyone is healthy by the time the All-Star break is over.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Maybe you need to teach him some discipline, then:He swings at anything. None of the pitches at bat were strikes. I guess pitchers don't have to throw a strike when facing Schoop. He will get himself out. Sano has been selective at the plate lately. That's why he is having some success right now.

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Smeltzer is very interesting to me as a bullpen option this year. I think long term he is a 4/5 starter, but I think he is a better left handed option out of the pen than Mejia.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Wasn't Laudner hyping up Gallo's defense yesterday??
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 How many games has Gallo played in CF? (See yesterday's thread.)
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Rangers may want to challenge the ruling that the run scored, if that is reviewable.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 How to lose a game in two scenes starring the twins. Embarrassing
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 We got a run, but I'm not a fan of getting an out at 3rd and home in the same inning.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Any other runner gets hit in the back with the ball , Byrons to quick, hell of a throw
MVP Nick Punto Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 That was a disappointing way for the inning to end. At least the run stood.Edit: Oof, nevermind. That stings
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 They didn't count the run? So we had runners on 2nd and 3rd no outs and didn't score? That's embarrassingly bad. Terrible managing with sending Buxton to third
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 And we didnt even get the run...unbelievable. A hit scores buxton anyway so why try to tag up?
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Unreal- hustle Schoop, bad play all around
stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 I couldn't believe Schoop would advance 90 feet before Buxton. Not surprised at all. Poor baserunning by Buxton.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Buxton ran the Twins out of that inning. Schoop isn't going to score any faster then Buxton can move up.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Brutal half inning there. 2nd and 3rd, no one out....come up empty handed
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 If i wasent watching what just happened, would never believe that, Crazy
