IMO Mejia seems like an easy decision when you need to make room. He just looks too damn hittable and that just won’t get it done reasonably

They have a soft schedule pretty much this whole month, better get used to them continuing to win. Meanwhile, we had quite a few chances against bottom feeders ourselves (KC, CWS, Detroit). Didn’t exactly blow any of them away

What a god awful performance by Mejia.  My goodness that stunk.  Wild pitches, walks, huge dinger.  Big effort today up in smoke thanks to his wildness.  He's going to have to earn back some trust to see that kind of situation again.  

 

I know some sphincters will be tightening if Cleveland sweeps the Twins next weekend.  They could cut it to 2.5 games.  The GM needs to get another bullpen option.

Tough loss today.  Both teams had chances to win it a couple different times.

 

What was once a double digit division lead is now cut in half to 5.5 games with a three game series at Cleveland immediately out of the all-star break.  Gonna be a big weekend
