2. Polanco SS

3. Cruz DH

4. Rosario LF

5. Garver C

6. Gonzalez 1B

7. Sano 3B

8. Schoop 2B

9 Buxton CF

Glad to see this lineup at full strength finally.  I was starting to worry where the power was going to come from.

Why no respect for Cron?

So in my dream world, Kepler hits a home run to RF that I catch and get him to sign the ball between innings. What are the odds?

One in a million.

Metaphysical certainty.

If you're at the game, you've got a chance. If not, then, no chance.

Sort of like the lottery slogan of, "You can't win if you don't play."

Would you settle for Rosario? Or perhaps a Garver Oppo?

Definitely, a big part of life is just showing up. I do my best to remember that when I have a court hearing scheduled.

As for the lottery, it depends on your definition of "win". If the vast majority of the people who play the lottery lose money, I would think I win by not playing the lottery.

But if you don't play the lottery, you don't have the opportunity to not lose though!

That last bit was comparing the lottery to the chances of getting a home run ball from and signed by Mr. Kepler.

Tongue-in-cheek as it were.

Respectfully submit that the humanitarian view point rather than that of a fan would be to worry where all the power is going...

Some of it hopefully to our fellow in the Right Field Bleechers (who will get it autographed if this is a dream world) but the rest may have to be absorbed by the gloves of...

1. Francisco Lindor (S) SS

2. Oscar Mercado ( R) LF

3. Carlos Santana (S) 1B

4. Jordan Luplow ( R) RF

5. Jose Ramirez (S) 3B

6. Jason Kipnis (L) 2B

7. Roberto Perez ( R) C

8. Jake Bauers (L) DH

9. Leonys Martin (L) CF

I hope there are no injuries... that would not be very sporting.

No problems with the comparison, just with the slogan.

Kind of feel like this is a series that the Indians have to sweep and we are the ones who really can afford to win 1 of 3 and be fine.  It's nice to be on the opposite side of that equation once.  If we lose a game in the standings....meh.  No biggy.  If we lose 3 games in the standings, it's a bit of a wake up call.  If we come out of this with a series win and increase our lead, then let's see the Tribe scramble for the fire exit.

I will be in RF. I think that I have a better chance than the average player.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.    Man it would be nice if Smeltzer had another great start.    I'm  not down on Pineda but wouldn't mind seeing Smeltzer step up in a big way.   Improving the bottom of the rotation is a worthwhile goal and if he does succeed we have control of him for a while.    ...   Along those lines I wonder if RB's analysis goes to script if the Indians would be a potential trade partner.    Sano, Thorpe, Graterol, Cave for Bauer and Hand?

Bauer has a 4.08 FIP and 4.47 xFIP.  He's walking 4 batters per nine, while his k rate is down from last year.  His FB rate is up, as is his hr/fb ratio, and all of this with an artificially low .257 babip.  I'd be hesitant to trade JUST Thorpe and Cave, let alone throwing in our best pitching prospect and a 26 year old OPS'ing 1.036.  If the Twins offered that, the Indians would assume they were being prank called.

My High School math teacher called the lottery a tax on people who are bad at math.

Yeah, but at least it's a voluntary tax.

It's a voluntary regressive tax on the mathematically challenged.
