Dear Cron... for the record, a 13 pitch at bat is even better.  Between the two at bats, that's 25% of Gonazalez's pitches. He's done this inning!

Weird experience: A couple of innings ago Dick & Jack mentioned Joe Mauer. Despite having watched most Twins games this year, I actually haven't thought about Joe or his absence for weeks! 

 

Winning is distracting!

 

And I'm on cloud 9 today anyway because my favored football team achieved promotion to the Premier League this morning (Pacific time). With the relegation/promotion system in England, the difference in TV money between winning and losing this game is about $250 million. Happy day for me, even if the Twins don't manage to hold onto this one!
