I really don't get pitching Dyson here. Dude got off a plane a few hours ago, has been at the park since like the 6th inning, and is coming into a game like an hour later. Silly.

This one's on Rocco from LAST night.  You can't tell me that he didn't have ANYONE left in the bullpen that could have mopped things up after the grand slam?  He HAD to bring Rogers in?  Then he makes this dumb decision to bring Dyson in the game after he wasn't even at the ballpark to start the game!!  Where's May?  Where's Harper?  Where's Gimenez?

I know this is kinda who Romo is and who he has always been, but I’m not sure his nibble, nibble approach will play against a team that rarely swings at bad pitches like the Yankees.

 

FWIW, the Yankees have a career .658 OPS vs Romo which is slightly higher than his overall number.
