Now how is Escobar going to get the Twins record for most doubles in a season?

 

On that note, he's going to get a lot more triples at Chase Field.

Looking through their system quickly, think it could be a few guys. Again, just guessed:

P Emolio Vargas (15) - 7-5, 2.21 ERA at A+ ball. 136 K's in 102 IP. Fastball-slider-changeup pitcher

C Andy Yerzy (16) - Playing in the NWL. Above average power behind the plate. .867 OPS in 135 AB.

IF Domingo Leyba (18)

P Johan Duran (19)

P Juan Lopez (20)

One pretty good prospect would've been much better than 3 fringe guys.

It's how we got Escobar in the first place. I wasn't pleased to get 2 minor leaguers for Liriano. It worked out.

Dalton Varsho  A.A. Catcher , he is there 5th rated prospect, any thoughts on him?  i was looking at there top 30 list, guess we will find out later ??

With how deep the Twins farm system is I hate that they're going for quantity over quality. They need players that are close to the MLB.

I am assuming they have listened to all of the interest and are confident they are not going to get a better return. They could wait other teams out and hope they get desperate but you can also get caught holding an expiring contract that way.
