They shoulda started a reliever!

well played.

I wonder if I can get one of my sons to make the first couple posts tomorrow for me, just to let me enter later in the day......

[Mike Sixel]

Nice, no walks. Hopefully we'll be seeing him in August/September.

[Nine of twelve]

That makes 7 shutout innings for Berrios. 102 pitches, and the 102nd may have been the nastiest of the night. Another reason to be optimistic for 2019.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Seven strong innings for Berrios, setting it up nicely for Scott Klingenbeck in the 8th, and Ron Davis in the 9th

I think you're off by about 4 decades.

[Blake]

Really. Of all the players on this roster, why Kepler?

He's from Germany and follows soccer?

Just goes to show that you don't need LSD for a bummer flashback.

He's no Berrios

[Danchat]

I feel like those couple articles here talking about how Dozier is hitting his stride has jinxed him... he's been brutal the past 5 games.

ESCOBAR is a STUD!!!!!

[VATwinsFan]

ESCO--BOMBA--ROONEE!!!!!

[Squirrel]

I <3 Esco!!!!!!!!

[Blake]

Escobar comes through again.

Unless the Twins get offered a King's ransom for him, I don't see why they would trade him.

[D. Hocking]

Wow - things changed a bit on my way home from work.  Not to be petty or picky, but I wish a couple of these runs could have occurred in Kansas City.

[jun]

Dozier got a K and Escobar got a HR.

A look inside the front offices after Esco's bomb

Because Escobar's going to hit free agency whether the Twins trade him or not, that's why. I highly doubt an extension for him is coming before the offseason arrives, so I don't see why to keep him when we're not competitive.

I thought he still had arbitration years left.

Drat.

Okay, thanks for the information.

[jkcarew]

Kirilloff 3-3 with HR and walk.
