Don Walcott Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Is Gardy complaining about the strike zone?
David HK Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Amazing anyone could walk two in a row with this ump.And this lineup...
jud6312 Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Boyd fears LaMarre. That's his "injury."
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Is Gardy complaining about the strike zone? Yeah, but at least he's healthier now, so his yelling doesn't make his head look like a beet about to explode in a microwave like it used.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 And now all is right in the world. So long, Frenchy.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 The fact that there are 4 teams worse than us in RISP is astounding. Can’t imagine how Texas feels hitting .208 w risp

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I can. When you consider we are somehow at .230 or .240, shines a light on how much worse it could be
launchingthrees Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Buxton: where rallies go to die.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Just as hopeless as we feel watching the Twins. Twins felt your pain and hugged you with an RBI, bro. http://inotternews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/sad-panda-podiatrist_medium.jpg Edit: Twins have brought you a three run inning to cheer you up:
David HK Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Dozey, thank you. A big hit to THE OPPOSITE FIELD! And Bux in full flight! We are all grateful. Maybe make this part of your regular repertoire?
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 In the last 7 games Dozier, Buxton, and Adrianza are a mind-numbing 3 for 46. 3 for 48 if you count tonight.Note how since I called them out Adrianza and Dozier are 2 for 2 with 3 rbi's.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 There we go, at last. Made those walks haunt. And Lynn is dealing right now. But why do I have a sinking feeling that we may still have needed that run Dozey could have scored if not for a good catch...?
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Now let's see if Lynn can get out of here quickly and back in the dugout.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 That’s it. I’ve seen it all Now that you've added 'Dozier opposite field RBI' to your Twins Rarities bingo card, it looks like you're only missing 'Mauer takes home run cut at 3-0 pitch'.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Note how since I called them out Adrianza and Dozier are 2 for 2 with 3 rbi's.Let us not pat ourselves too hard on the back... Someone still has to keep the tigers from scoring.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Now let's see if Lynn can get out of here quickly and back in the dugout. Just what the doctor ordered.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Someone still has to keep the tigers from scoring. How about that dentist from Bloomington? Never mind, that was a lion.
David HK Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Hm. Always entertaining when a player's gameday photo looks like his name. (i.e. Buck Farmer) Is that like visual onomatopoeia or something?
David HK Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Let us not pat ourselves too hard on the back...Someone still has to keep the tigers from scoring.True, but everyone's been calling out Lance Lynn for a while now, so maybe that's already been done. Fingers crossed.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 If you had two dogs, I imagine during Frenchy's ABs it'd be something like this. That might have been funny if you actually posted a picture of Frenchies instead of pugs.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 For anyone keeping track at home, Ryan LaMarre's career OPS is 162 points lower than Mark Davidson's.In fairness, who's isn't? http://www.tradingcarddb.com/Images/Cards/Baseball/65819/65819-7Fr.jpg

twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Sorry I'm late to the party. Didn't get out of Minneapolis until well past 8. I was meeting with Lance Lynn about his poor performance since the start of the season. We had a small session this afternoon before game time about finding your grit, arm angle and picking your spots, etc. He wanted me to stay through the 5th inning. I told him all would go well tonight.
Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS On Saturday, Houston went 3-for-5 and scored two runs. After a short slump, he is now back over .290 on the season. Explore Marek Houston News >
