The Twins are supposed to continue their four game series tonight with the White Sox, but the chances of that do not look good. I was planning on having a nice, well written out game thread because I was hoping a game would be played, but the chances of that look very slim, so instead I am going to leave you with a nice collection of Simpson GIFs, because who doesn't like Simpson's GIFs.

I assume no one is saying a word until they figure out whether this game is going to be played. No point in making a roster move to add a starter if you don't need another starter.

So Mister X is in town, presumably flown in last night, but no one has caught wind of anything? No one in Rochester says out loud, say, where's Mejia^* anyway? Ditto Ft Myers and Hughes. Any other out of town candidates?

 

Personally I could see it as just a bullpen game.

I have to believe these constant weather delays are hard on more than just the pitching. Really hard to get in any kind of pitching, hitting or just general groove with games being rescheduled due to weather.

Just did the same thing myself.     Best case, super cheap tickets for a nicer weather game.     Worse case I'm either out $18 if they play tonight or if I can't go can resell and at least get my money back.

I wanted to see a baseball game today, but at least it saves us from Phil Hughes again. Maybe we could go the whole season with 4 starters going 40 starts with byes every 5th game... I wonder if their arms would hold up. Probably not a good idea.
