If Kintzler gets traded, maybe Hildy can be the new closer.

Gimenez for our next closer and put Colon behind the plate on a foot stool. Our ticket sales would go through the roof.

Yeah, he of the 0 professional saves. That would be so Molitor to do that.

Who else in the pen has even one career save?

Not that I have any interest in defending Molitor, but it's an honest question.

Y'all can complain about Cuzzi all you want but he's been consistent on that edge of the plate the entire game.  Why the Twins keep standing up there and looking at it, especially this late in the proceedings, is beyond me.

So you expect that hitters who have spent literally years honing their batting eye and skill in picking good pitches to hit to just simply adjust completely and without ill effects within the span of a few innings?

Or maybe you're telling me that good hitters should have to reach out and poke the end of the bat at pitches way out of the zone, hoping to put a bad swing on a bad pitch?

God forbid the umpires to do their ****ing jobs.

I'm guessing that Mrs. Riverbrian would enjoy proving your wrong on that one! :)

She's generally embarrassed by my lack of embarrassment.

Mrs. Riverbrian: Go sit over there.

Riverbrian: Why? I'm supposed to sit next to you.

Mrs. Riverbrian: I know... but please go sit over there.

Riverbrian: Again Why? We sit together... it's our nieces wedding... just relax and enjoy this special moment.

Mrs. Riverbrian: You are wearing sweatpants

I'm kinda surprised Molitor didn't come out to defend Sano there. Cuzzi has been trash all game.

It doesn't take much time to say, "Phil ****ing Cuzzi!", and by that time Sanó was already ejected.

It's not about being consistent any more, it's about being right. The rules were changed to make a uniform strike zone awhile back. Cuzzi still thinks he can make his own it appears.

The technology is here.

There is no reason to not automate the strike zone.

Cuzzi has been consistent but consistently wrong.
