I'm kinda surprised Molitor didn't come out to defend Sano there. Cuzzi has been trash all game.

Y'all can complain about Cuzzi all you want but he's been consistent on that edge of the plate the entire game.  Why the Twins keep standing up there and looking at it, especially this late in the proceedings, is beyond me.

So you expect that hitters who have spent literally years honing their batting eye and skill in picking good pitches to hit to just simply adjust completely and without ill effects within the span of a few innings?

 

Or maybe you're telling me that good hitters should have to reach out and poke the end of the bat at pitches way out of the zone, hoping to put a bad swing on a bad pitch?
