Okay, question for you all:

Which is more important, the game or the game thread?*

*Answers will be graded on Laughter, not objectivity

If there is no game thread does the game even count?

Bleu cheese in certain cases.

Chimichurri at Argentinian places.

Peppercorn sauce if it's ordered that way.

Salt.

Horseradish seems more like a prime rib thing, doesn't it? Oh well, I'd have it anyway.

Any I'm missing?

I could go for these... though in my experience, a good horseradish tastes good on any steak.

Sano and Vargas together weigh 545 pounds. What else weighs 545 pounds? A grand piano, for one. Also, "It's about one-tenth as heavy as The Tongue of a Blue Whale." Kind of puts things in perspective?

A+ for for the "if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to complain, is there really a sound" reference.

Wish you were grading my grad school tests back in the day...

Hey, it's obvious the car is more important than the gasoline. A Lamborghini sitting at the curb looks fast while sitting still. No gasoline? Same thing.

Sorry, c- with that answer.

Dude It's the Twins

It's a Dodge Dart

Y'know, over here on this side of the big lake, and with all the day games, I haven't been able to follow much.  But holy cow, looking at the BA's in that Ranger lineup, sheesh!  'Dey worse 'den us, like by a lot!  The only guy above water there is that catcher Chirinos, (which, coincidentally, was my go-to dish at Tommies back in LA).

Beverly and Rampart?

I Googled and there is a site with many pages of "what weighs 545 lbs.!!!

55,000,000 grains of sand, fascinating, but I'm still seeing those briskets and steak slices from earlier lol lol

How heavy is 545 pounds?

Sort Order:
Lowest first | Highest first | Closest first

It's about as heavy as a Pig.
In other words, the weight of a Pig is 1 times 545 pounds.
(Domestic pig, Sus scrofa domesticus, a.k.a. S. domesticus) (adult)
Domestic pigs weigh between 550 pounds. The titular character "Babe the pig" in the 1995 family film was played by 48 different American Yorkshire piglets due to the length of filming and the rate at which piglets reach adulthood.

Levine is a beast at interviewing!

He's very intelligent

I liked his take on clubhouse personality and how trades need to also be gaged on how they might affect the camaraderie.

So, you are saying we should have had 103 less game threads last year?

Beverly and Rampart?

Yep.  Near where I used to teach school.  I still have permanent chili sauce on a coupla shirts

No. Which is why we need people, such as yourself, to take a look at the open dates coming up and to sign up to do a game thread!

This has been a TD PSA.

OK, next question. What condiments are allowed on a steak without insulting the cook?

This topic cannot be joked about. It is not covered by the protections of free speech via the Constitution. Talking about putting condiments on a steak should be considered advocacy of imminent lawless behavior.

If it requires ketchup (of all barbaric condiments to put on a steak), it's not prepared properly. Or, if you simply don't want your steak to taste like steak....eat Chicken.

I'm very upset.

I like this Levine guy, saying all the right things at least according to my ears here.

My man. I'm a Loyola/USC guy myself.

Occasionally a tiny bit of Bearnaise is pretty grand on steak.

He's one of those guys that the more you listen to him the more you think "I like this guy"
