.  I watched Shagwaa and Wimmers throw a bullpen session.  IMO the best pitcher on the team is one of those two.  Wimmers breaking ball really has a big bite, dropping down.

Interesting comment.  Care to elaborate?

I should have mentioned this yesterday, but will today.  FINALLY the position players got drilled on touching first base the correct way.  And it took Torii to do it. I had asked a coach previously why, and was told we don't care as long as they touch it. Well they should be taught to touch the front of the bag with their right foot when rounding the bag. TK's players were taught that.

Torii had them do it numerous times, and had a few go back and do it again if wrong before the next guy in lines turn. He even got to where he'd put his foot in the middle of the plate so they wouldn't step on him.

Also Roserio, Santana, Vargas and Escobar showed up yesterday and Sano and Dozier today.

I also watched pitchers throw off the mound today for one rotation. Berrios, May, Boshers, and Tepesch. It looked to me as if Berrios had the best session. He cruised thru Neil Allens' drill with only 4 pitches each side. The catcher would call out i, 2, 3. Tepesch threw a few pb's or wps. Berrios got a lot of praise with all his pitches.  I really want him in the rotation if he can throw like that in games.

Tempted to attach a picture of the view from my front porch in Boise. Not winter nor spring...mud season.

Looks nice down there. Nice that a few Vikings players are in camp.

Tell Kennys to stop walking into your shot!

LOL, that I can take, it's when Fernando Romero is pulling my leg hairs out one by one while filming or Hague starting to ask me questions while I was recording that gets me b/c I can't stand the sound of my own voice on recordings.

Most frequent questions I get:  "Who do you work for?", "Where are these going up at?" And the one I get the most is "Do you know who you look like?".  The answer to all those is I do this for fun, they go up on Twitter and sometimes Twinsdaily boards, and yes I know who I look like you don't have to tell me.

Torii is going to be a hell of a coach

Hands down no question about it!! Of all the things I've seen in camp this past weekend, the biggest take home I got was that Hunter has the makings for at least a great hitting coach if not manager.  I said it two years ago when he was working with Buxton in the cage and after seeing him with Nick Gordon the other day, it just cemented it for me.

Great picture. LOL, Breslow at around 6'0" looks like Freddie Patek next to these guys.

Any Rowson spottings? Haven't heard a thing about the guy working with the hitters and I'm eager to hear/see any changes in overall philosophy.

Yes, he's been present throughout much of the cage work.  One instance I can give was during Nick Gordon's 20 minute cage work with Torii the other day (there is a video of it in above comments),about halfway thru Rowson came in to watch (you can't see him in the video, he's behind the pillar).  He didn't say too much, I think he was there to watch Torii as much as he was Nick.  Torii was giving pointers on Nick's front footstep (Nick has a tendency to step out) and Hunter asked Rowson for feedback that he gave Nick (step forward to use hips more) and he told him that's exactly what I would say too. Torii got a little proud, and told Nick "see I know what I'm talking about."

Yeah, I'm pretty sure, he's smaller than 6', I was standing next to him with his cleats on and he's my height which is 5'10 on a good day.  Breslow is little guy but what surprised more of the fans was was the small size of Kintzler.

Ever since the movie the Hangover came out, I've gotten the Zach Galifianakis comp.  If I had a dollar for everytime I've been told it my student loans would be paid off by now.

During the GCL season, the players call me Alan.

This is down right terrifying to me.  This seriously is taught in t-ball.
