I just realized what looks odd about the way Kepler runs. He runs toe-to-heel, like a ballet dancer. Most of us lugs run heel-to-toe, like an overweight jogger.

Byron Buxton has a right knee contusion and he's listed as day to day.

False.

It's a bruise.

Much different.

His parents were ballet dancers. We should nickname him The Black Swan!

You all can have my accolades.

I never know what to do with 'em.

I want a big vanilla ice cream cone with accolades sprinkled on top!

Saaaa NOSIE!

Sorry that was late. Bathroom break.

Eduardo "Headless" Nunez may not even finish in the AL top 5 in stolen bases, but just seeing him tied for the lead in July is pretty cool.

Who was the last Twin to manage that? Knoblauch, like 20 years ago?

By the way, if i seem distracted from the game, it is because i have a field of fire flies to watch...

This was probably mentioned before - maybe even by me but For a team that bunts so much we are sure not good at it.

On this night of positivity I would like to say that Gibson, ah sucks. Half the time he pitches, including tonight, he looks afraid to throw a strike. I think he needs a big old burley catcher to threaten him with his life if he doesn't start challenging hitters.

At least that bunt attempt was with two strikes.

Really caught'em by surprise.

... as did the steal attempt. Caught'em by surprise.

Lesson 101 on how to bungle an inning.  After a leadoff hit - have your best hitter bunt which he cannot do successfully, then get the runner thrown out on a pitchout because it was that obvious it was coming.  Finished off by the ump missing ball 4 and calling it strike 3 instead.

The ump was just putting us out of our misery.
