Polanco? Walker? Boshers? Berrios?

If Buxton ends up on the D.L?

Getting a bit ahead of ourselves with this kind of talk, but unfortunately it's probably what we need to look at. Should have been Arcia, but otherwise probably Polanco.

I hate to say it, but I'm really starting to feel like it might be in our best interest to be shopping Buxton this offseason, at the very least to see what sort of return we could get.

No.

I'm always ahead of myself.

Just in case I'm going the wrong way.

Pretty sure they can only replace him with one guy.

Vargas is looking... Extraordinary.

You can't get much closer to hitting a ball out of the park than that one.

If Buxton tore a bit of cartilage in the knee, it might have locked up on him after walking around a bit. That or he got a charlie horse that swelled up after a minute...

The good news: It's not a concussion, and it's not a broken leg.

No.

I'm not advocating trading him just to trade him, but I really have no clue what sort of potential haul we could get. He hasn't exactly shown anything impressive, besides his speed, to this point. If we could get back a young, cost controlled quality pitcher or some sort of deal with a quality catcher, it'd be intriguing to hear offers at the least.

I know he's supposed to be a huge core of our future, and I really hope that pans out, but he does scare me a lot with his balls to the wall approach he seems to be taking into the walls out there.

You do not even think about giving up a 22-year-old with Buxton's talent.

No. He's hit .200 in less than a season and will probably be coming off a major injury. You'd be selling at his absolute lowest value.

I am at work and did not see the play, but it seems to me that every ballpark should be required to have extreme padding on every wall that a player might crash into.

Buxton looks like he ****ed something up bad. This is not good

Gahhhhh.

Just popping in for a moment. Now I wish I hadn't.

I've read opinions saying that Vargas was a potential 40 man cut to make room for other stuff.

Not me

He hits the ball too damn hard to let some other team have for free.

I really think he could be special.

They DO have padding.  Buxton was pretty close to max speed when he hit that wall.
