Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 yup, it's called injury insurance. 2.3 mil as a 20-something year old well invested would go a long ways for the dreaded one pitch , POP! And done. The odds of any athlete making it as a pro compared to the odds of injury make this a good hedge. And with the 2.3 Million Dollars you could buy a Business that makes sausages at the Mall of America with a big glass window so everyone can see how they are made.

D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Wait, did Mauer stick with Prince for his walkup song or is everyone still doing it? He's had that TI song for 10 years! He is going to use 7 for his first bat of the game for the rest of the season and use TI for the rest of his bats.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 If I was an Indian fan, on "Indians Daily," I'd be really, really torqued off about that 0-2 pitch.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 When Mauer tags from third, he runs with shorter steps and with no forward lean, and with that long upper body it makes him look a little like one of the Milwaukee Sausage Racers.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I think they might be able to hold this lead for more than 8 minutes tonight
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Wow, three runs. Now maybe we'll see Berrios relax and bring his game!
