When Mauer tags from third,  he runs with shorter steps and with no forward lean,  and with that long upper body it makes him look a little like one of the Milwaukee Sausage Racers.

He would have gotten creamed running a QB bootleg that way at Florida State.  Good thing he stuck with playing ball instead.

Glad you said it. As athletic as he is, it doesn't look athletic.

Was fired up about Berrios debuting tonight,  but half expecting to see wheels coming off the wagon left and right.    Glad those wheels are coming off the Brewmobile instead of the Berrios Express.
