There's a high probability that outing ends with three walks, a few runs, and Meyer is yanked from the game so yeah, I say so.

 

It's common sense not to use an inexperienced player in that situation because not only can it go horribly wrong, you've just got into the guy's head in future appearances.

 

If he comes into a game, it should be a clean inning. Put the guy into a position to succeed, not fail.

Not the start I hoped for Berrios, but then again Duffey only lasted 2 innings and gave up 6 runs to have a nifty ERA of 27. And Matt Garza (the last highly touted pitcher before Berrios) went 2 2/3 innings gave up 7 runs to sport a nifty 23.62 ERA in his first start. So we need to relax (as does Jose). If he can calm down and pitch his game he will be fine.
