David HK Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I wouldn't be surprised if we suddenly see a spike in steroid use because of this.I 'roided up this morning, so I could finish that Walt Whitman power point. It's freakin' AWESOME!!! But I ripped my shirt....
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Wow! Wasn't graceful, but DANG!

formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 K. Gives up a lead off single, Molitor decides he can't trust him any further.Apparently Molitor has more faith in Berrios than you have in Molitor. Middle 1st, Twins 0, Indians 0. Berrios picks up first K.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Author Posted April 28, 2016 In what way would this encourage steroid use that the lure of 100 million dollar potential contract doesn't already? You have outsiders investing in him.

DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 it'd be nice to see a win without having to walk off for once, put up some runs so the kid can relax and just pitch
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Nice shot of the dugout Neil Allen explaining to Paul Molitor... What just happened in the top of the 1st.

Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Maybe he just wants to make sure he's set up for life either way. Again, if he loses value on this, it'll be because he made more money than anyone could ever need.yup, it's called injury insurance. 2.3 mil as a 20-something year old well invested would go a long ways for the dreaded one pitch , POP! And done. The odds of any athlete making it as a pro compared to the odds of injury make this a good hedge.
