Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 So, we all signed up for this forum for a reason. We love baseball, more specifically, twins baseball. Sadly for us, the twins clearly suck, the GM is clearly inept, as well as the manager.I want to enjoy baseball, and watching the twins suck over and over is getting old!I will always root for the twins, but as it's pretty obvious they are going nowhere this year, I will be selecting a team to bandwagon for this year!I choose the....Baltimore Orioles!'!Which bandwagon are you guys jumping on?Go Twins(Forever) Go Orioles(This year)!
jazzagechoir Provisional Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I also choose the orioles, not too far away, still in the AL and a great power lineup.

notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I'll tell you at the end of October.
twinsfanstreif Provisional Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I cannot and will not choose a team to bandwagon with, I will go down with the burning ship no matter how early!!!! Although I will probably choose to root for a team in the playoffs if/when the Twins are not involved. I live in KC and used to live in Houston so those are two obvious choices for me and I kinda liked the Mets as a NL team because I have a friend who's a huge Mets fan.....
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 We have a great GM. Go Ryan! Go Molitor! GO POHLAD!!!!
EddieMatthews Provisional Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I'm staying on the bandwagon! I will be the one with the Pee Wee Herman mask on so none of my friends will recognize me.
Tovar12 Verified Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 And to think I went to Cub Liquor the other day because they had 30 packs of Hamm's on sale. I wanted to remember the good old days when my dad would drink Hamm's and listen to the Twins on the radio and give me a sip of his ice cold beer. I was really fired up for a great season. Oh well, at least I have my Hamm's.
wavedog Verified Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Good topic - the Twins are #1 but my next favorite team would be Washington. Maybe Seattle as well.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 Good topic - the Twins are #1 but my next favorite team would be Washington. Maybe Seattle as well.Hmm Seattle looks decent this year actually. Dark horse contender as the talent is there.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 In the Oregon Trail that is the baseball season the Twins already have a broken axle, wagon tongue and Glenn Perkins is sick with dysentery. Translation there is no bandwagon to be on or off of. Astros and Pirates for the record.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Like I care about any other teams, too phony.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I have three teams Twins obviously and clearly my favorite, followed by the Rockies and Cubs. So to answer the question: the Rockies and Cubs. And Carlos Correa, though not a team, I just enjoy watching that kid play. Awesome.
Jerr Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Will NEVER jump off the TWIN'S bandwagon, though I may hang upside down by my toes...AlWAYS on for the ride
alskntwnsfn Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Astros and Pirates on standby.
NumberThree Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Cubs. Because 90% of their fans are bandwagoners anyway.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 When the Twins are 2-7, none of you can get back on.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Cubs. Because 90% of their fans are bandwagoners anyway. I think you're a bit low with the number there.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 When the Twins are 2-7, none of you can get back on.Like I said I'll always be on the twins wagon... But if it is a stinker of a year I like to have a team to root for.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 If I follow another team, it will be the Cubs (I love how they've built their team), and Seattle* *I am moving to Oregon, so, ya, another great stadium/bad team!
lukeduke1980 Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Not sure if it was reported yet but the 91 Twins started like 2-9 so no need to get off this wagon yet.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 Not sure if it was reported yet but the 91 Twins started like 2-9 so no need to get off this wagon yet.Yeah that is true.. But let's compare players and pitching staffs... You tell me.
lukeduke1980 Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Yeah that is true.. But let's compare players and pitching staffs... You tell me.That sounds like a fun exercise. Buxton vs Puck, Mauer vs Hrbek, Morris vs Nolasco!
gocgo Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Either the O's or KC. The only other ballparks that I've been in. For the record, I remember at this time last year thinking that if we could just get to .500, that would be a huge accomplishment. I'm thinking the same thing this year.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Like I said I'll always be on the twins wagon... But if it is a stinker of a year I like to have a team to root for.Yer quite the fan, I must say.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I live in DC and root for the home team, including Ramos and Ben Revere this year; Span before that. I have to say, with Ryan Zimmerman donating money towards my son's Little League for a new field, and the Nats donating jerseys for the league, it's pretty easy to be a Nats fan. When the Twins face off against the Nats in the World Series in 2017, though, it's an easy choice.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I don't really want to cheer for either the White Sox or the Cubs, and I won't, but I really would like to see (and live through) an all-Chicago WS ... with the White Sox winning. I think I've said this elsewhere, but I'll not be wandering far from home during these games if they come to pass.
