Speaking of that, people from Texas are SERIOUS about their meat for grilling. I have been ripped on by my friends for not bringing over steaks/brisket/sausage that's the size of my torso.

I had some barbecued brisket in a little hole in the wall south of San Antone that was too die for. That comment will be the last, and only positive one

I have about Texas!

Basic balsamic glaze for wings:  1 part balsamic vinegar, 1 part OJ, add some brown sugar and simmer till reduced by about half.

 

That sounds amazing.  Someone needs to organize a 1st annual Twins Daily BBQ.

BREAKING: As I walked to the restroom, what do I see in the gym? Well, my friends, it appears to be a yoga class with a group of 10+ young professional aged women. I may be reaching here, but this class may be ending in the next 10 minutes. If they walk by the pool, we may be cooking with fire!

The charcoal grill is warming up... Pool update: pretty disappointed with the lack of activity. I was hoping to see more ladies getting some sun on a Wednesday evening. There's a middle aged woman in a 1 piece bathing suit reading a book. She's a little beyond my age range. Good looking though!

I can think of more things for women to get sun on, than a Wednesday evening! :)

The bullpen is going to be shot by the end of this game. Really needed Gibson to go 6-7 innings at least.

yeah, and it's a weak bullpen to begin with. Maybe Meyer or Burdi gets called up quicker than we thought

They have a lot of Lone Star Flags flying about the place. 

 

If you drive through Indiana for example. You don't see many whatever that is on their flag.

Can confirm this is true. Hell, I think I've noticed the Minnesota state flag once or twice in 23 years living there. You can't escape the Texas state flag down here.
