Stanton has more power but when he swings... it looks like he has more power.

With Davis it's like he flicks the ball over the fence.

Thus... Easy Power

[DaveW]

he closed his eyes and put his glove up.

Oh I know. I mean I'm glad he made the catch, but oh boy, even the routine ones are going to be an adventure.

[Reider]

I understand the point, but how many times have you seen someone get picked off at 3rd?

I understand your point, but how many pick off attempts to 3rd have you seen? Sometimes you get lucky and can catch someone napping who isn't expecting a throw over.

[mikeee]

Park sure worked that count. And 2 walks?  Some patience!

[big dog]

What's the over/under on comments about Sano in this thread?  50%?

[Comrade Bork]

A 10 pitch at bat for Park is pretty solid, even if he did strike out.

[Mill1634]

Twins bats certainly aren't showing so far

[DaveW]

Yeah, it almost negates the classic Rosario 2 pitch at bats.

[USAFChief]

Rosario is so damn frustrating half the time.

It would be interesting to see how many called "balls" he watches this year.

[big dog]

Gallardo's stuff doesn't scare me.  We need to get this guy.

[jimmer]

Look, I love Sano.  Love the kid.  But I can love the kid and still hate the idea of him in RF and not like having our defense suffer because of it.

In past years how many times have you seen the fake to 3rd and throw to 1st.  Pitchers can't do that anymore.

[Vanimal46]

Salt and pepper are on the wings. Shirt is put on. Heading down to the pool shortly. Dont worry, I will give progress reports on the status of the wings.

[Jham]

Don't you have a column to write Reusse ?

"Sano is large, I don't like foreigners, when you've weathered as many wars, winters, and recessions as I have, you'll realize the worst move in franchise history wasn't Ortiz to the BoSox, it was some pitcher who left the team in 1965 and went on to be a pretty good carpet  warehouse operator in the mid to late 70's."

I don't think they could do that last year could they?

You need Vinegar

[Vanimal46]

You need Vinegar

All I have is apple cider vinegar from the pulled pork recipe. Will that work?

It's cold and rainy here in the Chicago area.  Please send updates about the pool.

[Mill1634]

He's out

[big dog]

Rosario raced to that ball- I thought he had an assist there.  Great effort.

[KidBro]

It's going to be a long season w/ the pitiful ABs leading to a Twins record of K's for the season, while teams put pressure on us every inning.  Thats just not fun baseball.

Currently 80 degrees and sunny in good ol' Austin, TX. Best time of the year before the Texas summer kicks in.

Why Not

You can Canary in the Coalmine for the rest of us

[Mill1634]

That is crap right there

<...sigh...> thanks, I guess

[big dog]

And the replay system...is consistent, once again.

[Reider]

Rosario is such a beast. If he doesn't lose his footing and throws on a rope or with less than 3 bounces, he's out.

[USAFChief]

No clear evidence his lead foot came off the bag, IMO

[DiscGolfer]

How many assists will we see from Rosario this year

[USAFChief]

88 and severe clear in Tucson, if that helps.
