1,000th topic in this thread, so I say we do a game. Each post in this thread names a Major League Baseball player. Let's see if we can get up to 1,000 with no duplicates.

 

Can be current or past major leaguers, no minor leaguers.

Closest I can get to my age, my hometown (but not quite on either): 2200+ MLB PAs, six teams...Mike Kingery, Atwater Minnesota.
