Great! Now trade him for what you can get ASAP.

That would be the very definition of selling low. But they bought him low as well, so maybe it just comes full circle.

I don't think Ryan would sign an extension here, so I think you tell him to go get ready for a strong season after the work stoppage. The goal is to win, but as soon as it's clear that's not happening, a trade partner will be found by or before the deadline.

The Twins lost incredible trade value this year. The only way to balance that out is to go win in '27. I don't think it will happen, but they made their bed - they clearly have to go all in now and try.

And by all in, you mean they will run back the exact same roster minus Ryan Jeffers.

Larnach likely gone too.

Larnach may leave with my best wishes for his future. He's been a likable underachiever, I think. I know that I'm just speculating, but he often seems to lack passion. Keaschall clearly has it, but Larnach has been sort of happily going through the motions for at least a couple of years, in my humble opinion.

But, please keep Jeffers...he's a catcher with good power at times and that's a very nice thing.

18 games left and then who knows when we will see Twins baseball next.

If the owners stick to their guns on the salary cap, the smart money probably is thinking  July at the earliest.

I wouldn't be making plans for spring training games at this juncture. But hey, miracles could happen.

Royce Lewis was looking great a month ago, but the past week or so it appears like he is regressing again. I've about run out hope and patience with him. Does he remain our starting first baseman next     season. or do we try and trade him?

They would need to find a team who wants him at 3B because he doesn’t hit enough for 1B.

Yeah. He's my favorite player, but at this point, Lewis has to be looked at as a league average hitter at best. What a bummer. No real spot for him on the roster. Could be a UI if the Twins trusted his glove at all, but it's hard to do that either.

Yesterday's game is further proof (as though it was needed), that the Twins must improve their defense and overall athleticism.

18 games left to gather data on him, but like you said he’s regressing again. If he finishes the season in this fashion, I think he will be one of the first players we trade before the lockout sadly.
