You trash gents on the team now because you are infatuated with a rookie who have never faced or fielded a ball in the Big Show but are fantisizing that Culpepper is the next Bobby Witt Jr.

Fantasy baseball is not real.

Ergo, if a prospect has never fielded a ball in the majors,…true for 100% of prospects…it’s guaranteed that he’ll fail. Your logic is…astounding.

Kriedler is not a starting shortstop, Gray has proven he can't produce up here.  Culpepper has much more upside, it is worth it to see if he can provide a spark.  Because we know Kriedler and Gray won't.  That's not trashing, that's facts.

Nobody is saying he is the next Witt. But he would be an upgrade over what they currently have, and arguably would have been up a month ago had he not gotten hurt at the time. He has crushed every level, and there is documented video of his defense, as well as data of his athleticism, showing he brings certain traits to the table that are better than many on the team.

Im not expecting gold glove level play, but I would expect more athleticism

It's not happening. Zero chance they call up a guy not in the forty man in the next ten days. If they are out of it by then, I say neither comes up. Then next year they'll say they don't want to start with two rookies, but some year they'll be up.

I can already see it now, there will be several articles on Twins Daily about how Culpepper and Jenkins can be Opening Day Starters despite how these team never trusts rookies to do that. They'll hit well in spring training, then won't make the team and get called up late April.

Taylor Rogers' candlelit vigil was months ago. I guess he is the new struggling veteran that sticks around the entire season. A tradition like no other in Twins territory.

A little reminiscent of Matt Belisle, they just can't cut him because of his "veteran prescence"... and isn't this one of the oldest teams in baseball?

Or sometimes in 2028 after a lockout that last until July ‘27.

'For most, if not all, of these high school or college players, they must also traverse multiple levels (Rookie, Low A, High A, AA, AAA) of the minor league “farm” system. This is often where the MLB dream stalls out, with roughly 10-15% of minor leaguers making it to the Big Leagues.'

When they make the 40 or 26 after Spring Training, there is good reason for  optimism,  any thing before that is actually some loathing players that made it because some one's favorite Boy/s is/are not there.

Kriedler - LOL- 🙃 No such player has ever played but Give me the printed facts , not your opinion based on infatuation.

The cry bring them up, bring them up for SO MANY AAA players has taken up a lot of space on this site, followed by, DFA him, DFA him, DFA him, when their fantasies go pffft.

You know what, I'll take that bet. If I lose, come to New Zealand and I'll buy you a beer :)

Some of the best beer I have had is when I’m in Auckland, 2-3 times a year. Will be there in a couple months

Twins won’t call up young rookies this year due to burning up their service time and there will be a labor stoppage in 2027 in my humble opinion.

Guardians calling up a rookie tomorrow . Yankees did yesterday. Those teams are clearly not as well run.

I've had a beer or two from that place but not the hazy yet. I'll have to check it out :)

My family moved here in April, so we are still pretty new here. We live north of the bridge so to speak, in Milford. Absolutely love it here. Reach out when you are here again.

So you are saying the Twins are suddenly going to start acting as a franchise in a way that they have never acted before in their entire history?

I mean, they have a guy whose basically never played center field out there, instead of a top ten prospect. I can only believe what I see.

Did Cooper Ingle get called up

Ingle logged a . 967 OPS over 51 games with Columbus, which prompted his callup on June 26 as the Guardians sought a boost offensively. He's a catcher by trade, but Cleveland called him up to play outfield and DH, given they are three-deep behind the plate in Austin Hedges, Patrick Bailey and David Fry.

And I'll say that I THINK Jenkins would have been up already had he not hurt his shoulder against the wall. He's been back in St. Paul since June 23rd now, and I think that is about enough time. I don't know how much longer he needs to be there at this point.

Btw.... Happy to buy you a beverage if you are ever in Portland. I mean, anyone on the board I haven't blocked.

My wife has a cousin in Portland and another down near Bend. We will very much be there again at some point. Beautiful out there. And some great beer too :)
