But there sure was a lot of talk and with a half hour to go, not much action. It feels more like half measures again, no real plan. Whoops HarmonK03 1
howeda7 Verified Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I hope Hoffman is the new closer. It feels like the clock is starting to strike midnight on Gomez. I'd like to move him to the 7th inning. NYCTK 1

Look, the bullpen is deeper now, but they are short offense, defense, and starters.....I hope they didn't give up much. Hey we got Kremer, he is now our number 3 and may push Bradley for the #2 slot. ziggy 1
Permanent Twins Fan Verified Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I haven't seen the return yet, but I do like getting Hoffman. He has legit strikeout stuff and was Toronto's closer last year. He has pitched to a 3.94 ERA this year, but also has 14.1 K/9

howeda7 Verified Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Now that we're all in, go get the SS too.
SteveLV Verified Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago They gave up Hill plus 2 others. The only saving factor is Hoffman is not a rental, he is signed for 2027 too. I have no idea why they are doing this. I sense a meddlesome rookie owner. Rigby 1

strumdatjag Verified Member Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Dasan Hill, John Klein and Dameury Pena. The biggest name is Dasan Hill, a lefty starter currently putting up BAD numbers at Cedar Rapids. But he is a rated prospect for the Twins. I’ll take this trade. Permanent Twins Fan 1
