I haven't seen the return yet, but I do like getting Hoffman. He has legit strikeout stuff and was Toronto's closer last year. He has pitched to a 3.94 ERA this year, but also has 14.1 K/9

The only saving factor is Hoffman is not a rental, he is signed for 2027 too.

I have no idea why they are doing this.  I sense a meddlesome rookie owner.

Dasan Hill, John Klein and Dameury Pena.  
The biggest name is Dasan Hill, a lefty starter currently putting up BAD numbers at Cedar Rapids.  But he is a rated prospect for the Twins.  
I’ll take this trade.

Hill is the only one of real potential value there.  Hoffman is an FA after 27.

Or a rookie GM  being the top guy for the first time, may be in over his head.  And it is beginning to look that way more and more.

Kremer can play like a #3 even if he is a #4 or #5 for us.

Hill is the only one in thIat package that is noteworthy. John Klein wasn't really a prospect and Dameury Pena is just a lottery ticket. It does seem like a slight overpay, but Hoffman is under control through next year, and has been a great reliever for Toronto.
