Kremer has already pitched 700 innings in the majors, he's not a young arm like Bradley. I don't see much in common other than both were at their lowest point in their careers when traded. You aren't catching the drift - Tampa was frustrated with Bradley didn't think they could get full potential so traded him for another player that was worth 20 million excess value. Baltimore is trading a player they view as a 5th/6th pitcher that they may have DFA'd at the end of the year. They are taking a true flyer on a kid that is more raw than Brandon Winokur was. I think the Twins see a #3 pitcher potentially in him for the remainder of this year and next. At the very least a pitcher than can eat a lot of innings. Cory Engelhardt 1

This is based on what the Twins need, I think these are all more than reasonable deals for a team that considers itself a Buyer... • Padres get: LHP Robbie Ray • Giants get: RHP Miguel Mendez, IF Joniel Hernandez • Brewers get: RHP Dustin May, LHP JoJo Romero • Cardinals get: OF Alexander Frias, OF Carson Ragsdale • Cubs get: RHP Kevin Gausman • Blue Jays get: OF Brett Bateman, INF Ty Southisene • Rays get: RHP Freddy Peralta • Mets get: OF Aidan Smith, RHP Gary Gill Hill, 2B Émilien Pitre nicksaviking and Cory Engelhardt 2

Permanent Twins Fan Verified Member Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Per Ken Rosenthal: Giants are getting Marcelo Mayer from the Red Sox. That is definitely surprising.
